Snow or no snow – freezing cold anyway!
With or without snow, the winter UP IN THE HARZ is something special regardless of the weather conditions.
However, the coming winters will all issue a major challenge:
►climate change
• climate change – winter temperatures that are too warm, storms, little snow
► the transition of the Harz forest
• large bald spots, where once lush trees and dense forest landscapes reigned, caused by the bark beetle and climate change
► ongoing forest work in the Harz forests
