Those who prefer to enjoy the pleasantly gentle winter atmosphere in the forests Up in the Harz can be gently pulled through the snow in a horse-drawn carriage or even get on their snowshoes and explore the extensive winter hiking trails in the region.
If you pay attention, you might even be able to watch Santa Claus having his very own Christmas in the forest.
